Senior year is such a milestone—full of excitement, accomplishment, and dreams for the future. I had the privilege of photographing Sophia’s senior session here in Fayetteville, NC, and this girl has such an inspiring story to tell.
Meet Sophia
Sophia is not only a senior in high school this year, she’s also part of the Running Start program, which means she’s earning both her high school diploma and an associate’s degree at the same time. Talk about impressive! This program has allowed her to challenge herself academically, and now she’s preparing for the next big step: heading off to a university in Washington state to stay close to her family while pursuing her dreams.
Her Senior Session
Sophia’s senior session was everything I love about photographing this season of life. She brought her natural confidence, bright smile, and a sense of excitement for the future. From the start of the shoot to the very last frame, her personality absolutely shone through.
The park that we explored was full of barns, water, open fields and the setting was perfect for her session. The light, the colors, and her style all came together beautifully. Whether she was giving me her best laugh, a quiet thoughtful look, or a playful twirl, every photo captured a different side of her story.
